Break down and demystify format of an article for a general journal

Introduction

We have to write this part at last after writing the body part of the articles. After writing the body part we need to trace previous work on the same subject and setup up the problem then we need to identify how our paper addresses that problem.

Theoretical framework

This section leads the readers to the gap between literature that your paper addresses.

It’s specific to what you are doing in the paper. It also includes information that your reader needs to know in order to understand your argument.

Data and methods

This section answers the question “how do you know what you know?” which can be further broken down into three parts.

1- In what kind of material your research or finding based on (interviews, statistics, documents).

2- Where did you find that material or where it came from? (e.g., U.S. Census, National Archives, fieldwork).

3- How did you analyze that information? That is, what software or analytic strategies did you use to come up with your findings?

Results

Here often you have to give three main results or findings of the articles. First, make sure your results give the answer to the question your article raises in the front half.Organize your articles analytically. We need to think about how to we can present all of our findings.

Discussion or conclusion

This section is optional you may find discussion or conclusion here. Discussion section allows you to set back form results and think about the broader aspects of the story and theme or your result and how they tie together.
